Rice exports to peak in third quarter

Vietnam’s rice exports for the third quarter of the year are expected to reach 1.6 million tonnes in the third quarter of this year, 1.3 million tonnes higher than in the same period last year, according to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA). Of this amount, 600,000 tonnes will be exported in July, 550,000 tonnes in August and 450,000 tonnes in September.
